Elijah Chew

Founder of Bridging, the free O-Level E-Math revision site for Singapore students.

Elijah Chew is a 17-year-old student in Singapore and a Year 5 IB student at ACS (International). He builds Bridging, a free practice site for secondary students sitting O-Level E-Mathematics.

Why he built Bridging

The idea for Bridging came while he was sitting O-Levels and had started tutoring. Good E-Math practice was locked behind paid tools. Bridging is the product he shipped so a student can revise without paying for the hint.

Bridging is topic practice, notes, and a daily E-Math question, aligned to the SEAB 4048 syllabus. It is not affiliated with SEAB or the Ministry of Education. It is designed for Singapore students.

What he has shipped

He spent more than 150 hours building Bridging and writing notes across 17 topics. The site passed 100 signups and kept growing past 110 students using it to practise E-Math.

He also built BentoTile, a student portfolio product, with Ryusei N. and Benjamin Koh. BentoTile was named one of 10 promising youth startups at the Singapore AI Youth Festival 2026. Bridging is the product he keeps building for students who need E-Math practice they can actually open.
